HGA set to go online
Are you keen to get back to gymnastics? Or are you in desperate need of some energy burning activities for your kids? The ongoing COVID-19 restrictions have been tough on kids, families and coaches but there is a solution. Hobart Gymnastics Academy is excited to be taking Term 2 training online.
“The impact of the restrictions related to this virus will have a far-reaching impact on the lives of our young gymnasts,” says Leanne Knibbs, the Academy’s Head Tumbling Coach, “It is up to us to support and encourage them to move through this time and come out the other side better and stronger.”
Now, with the physical distancing restrictions continuing into Term 2, Hobart Gymnastics Academy is looking forward to being able to provide online classes for all members – whether recreational or competitive.
“While we’re all in isolation it’s really important for our mental and emotional health to remain physically active,” Leanne Knibbs explained, “It’s also helpful for young people to maintain as much of their regular routines and training regimens as possible.”
Although there will be a delay to the start of training for Term 2 - as families get used to school at home - gymnastics online will be starting soon!
